On Saturday, May 31st, despite thunder and lightning, students and instructors of Monte Allen Kenshikai Karate performed a spirited karate demonstration. Minutes before starting time, the clouds parted, the sun shone and the demo began on time. Kata, kumite, board breaking and street self defense (performed by Shihan Monte and Senapi Izzy) kept the crowd entertained and educated.
