BLACK BELT CLASS**
7:30 pm

**BLACK BELT CLASS will be on the 1st Friday of every month at 7:30 pm.


Class Description and chart color code:
  KARATE - This is traditional Japanese self-defense, influenced by styles such as Kyokushin, Goju-Ryu, Shotokan, Aikido and practical street self defense techniques.
  KUMITE (SPARRING)- In this class you apply the basic techniques you've learned an a one-one-one sparring environement. All participants wears safety gear for the head, hands, feet; also mouth guards, and groin or chest protectors.
  KARATE BASICS- Same as above, but geared to the beginner. Basic blocks, strikes, stikes and terminology are covered in a class that will provide good workout and a way to learn along with other beginners in karate.
  KATA - This class focuses on prearranged forms, which promote strong technique, balance, focus, dynamics, power and proper breathing.
  JODO - This martial art uses a short wooden staff, called a jo or tsue, to defend oneself against an attacker using a Japanese sword.
