| is the owner and chief instructor of our dojo. He has been teaching karate for more than 25 years. Shihan has a 3rd-degree black belt in Jodo and has also studied Jiu Jitsu, Aikido, and Iaido. September, 2008 marked his 20th anniversary of teaching in his own dojo in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Shihan has competed and officiated in tournaments internationally; most recently Abu Dhabi, Japan and Thailand. Shihan Monte is the senior member of the Kenshikaikan Karate-Do Association. |
